Portland Jr Hawks 3 v 3 Spring-Summer Hockey Start Date/Information!

The Portland Jr Hawks USA Cross Ice 3 v 3 Program kicks off this weekend. Player Registrations continue to roll in…Yes, we have lots of Goalies registered for our shooters. At this late date everyone should just bring the registration form found on our website and a check to the 1st Session. We don’t want any boy/girl missing out on the FUN program with all their friends.

We skate on Sunday Mornings at both Rinks. We begin this Sunday APRIL 6th Everyone must select the rink most convenient to their family and NOT change as we build the program around consistant attendance.

Sherwood Schedule:

• 7:30am-8:30am - Beginner/Mites (1999 Birth year and younger)
• 8:45am-9:45am - Squirts – (1998/1997 Birth years)
• 10:00am – 11:00am - PeeWee/Bantam – (1996/1995/1994/1993 Birth years)

Mtn View Schedule:

• 8:00am – 9:00am - Beginner/Mites (1999 Birth year and younger)
• 9:15-10:15am - Squirts – (1998/1997 Birth years)
• 10:30-11:30am - PeeWee/Bantam – (1996/1995/1994/1993 Birth years)

Expectations:

• The Coaching Staff is prepared to monitor fun creative playmaking on the ice, ensure rotations happen every 3 minutes and keep the music cranking!
• Be EARLY so we can configure teams/colors off ice and start the games immediately.
• 60 minutes of games is much harder than 60 minutes of drills so come hydrated….we will have water bottles on benches
• Bring a solid color jersey if you have one..black, blue,white,red,etc…as we will be using pinneys to coordinate teams the first week.
• Like always, the Coaches appreciate a few parents to help toss the Border Patrol and Nets on ice for first hour and help taking them off in the final hour.

Rules:

• FULL Equipment....mouthpiece!
• Be dressed and ready to skate when the zamboni doors close
• Parents enjoy their coffee while the Kids skate hard, have FUN and enjoy some good ol’ fashion Pond Hockey!
